About Us

The major hazard in Manaia is Yarrows bakery. Other risks we have identified are a Natural Gas treatment plan, petro-chemical production, lactose production, Kiwi Dairy, two Hotels and Natural Gas Strings Company.

The brigade is supported by Okaiawa and Hawera Brigades.

Manaia is a small coastal town situated approximately 15kms from hawera with a population of about 1,000 people. The town building profile is predominantly residential with a small CBD with mostly light industrial to service the rural community.
