About Us

Stratford, with an urban population of approximately 5,800 is centrally located in Taranaki, with neighbouring communities of Eltham (10kms), Toko (10kms), and Inglewood (16kms). Predominant industry is farming, along with the petrochemical production and a power station. Within the urban boundary is a large secondary school, three rest homes/hospitals and the Taranaki Regional Council office and depot. A number of small industries support the community.
