About Us

Major hazards are the Motunui Methanol Plant, a brewery, McKee Production, gas pipelines and chicken hatcheries.

The brigade is supported by Waitara 16kms away, and backs-up Mokau Fire Party 50kms to the north.

Urenui is a small town, predominantly residential, servicing the rural community. It has a population of about 400 people, rising to over 2,000 during the summer.
