February’s earthquake has brought what is being called the ‘new normal’ to Christchurch. The city is battered and bruised and massive amounts of rebuilding is being planned. Businesses and organisations are working through their options for returning to a ‘normal’ operation. The Fire Service is no exception. We want to keep all personnel and their families informed of the decisions the Fire Service must take to make sure we provide the best possible response and service to the people of Christchurch. Updates on what is happening back at the stations and in the meeting rooms will be reported here.
